Representatives from 10 countries and regions assembled at the Shichida Educational Institute Headquarters in Gotsu city, Shimane, Japan, for the 10th SHICHIDA International Conference—held for the first time in three years.

The two-day event featured updates on global operations, discussions on future strategic outlooks, and rich cultural exchanges among international attendees.

 

Event Summary & Highlights

Day 1 (July 8): Sharing Global Progress & Learning from Experts

 

Day One kicked off with updates from all around the world!

Presentations covered changing educational needs post-pandemic, as well as specific operational achievements in each region. We also hosted the following special learning sessions:

 

- 10th Anniversary Commemorative Lecture by guest speaker Mr. Toyofumi Yamada, Director of Kyorin Institute of Preventative Medicine

- Special Seminar by Mayumi Shichida, Representative Director of Shichida Educational Institute

 

Participants listened intently to the latest trends in education and insights on the future of early childhood education, making it a highly meaningful and valuable experience. 

 

　

The exhibition space was dynamically lined with a vibrant display of teaching materials and unique promotional items from Shichida Centers in each country.

 

Day 2 (July 9):  Discussions for the Future & International Exchange Through Traditional Culture

 

Day Two featured discussions aimed at the further development of the Shichida Method, along with a presentation by Issey Shichida, Senior Managing Director.

In the afternoon, the Shichida Educational Institute Tea Ceremony Club hosted a Tanabata Tea Ceremony! 

Representatives from each country attended wearing vibrant traditional attire and accessories that reflected their unique cultural identities.
It was a warm and truly international gathering, beautifully blending Japanese traditional aesthetics with diverse global cultures.
