We are so glad that we practice the Shichida Method! Juntaro received the Prime Minister’s Award in a Book Report Writing Competition when he was in the first grade!
Juntaro Yamada(10)
Juntaro received the Prime Minister’s Award at the 59th Youth Book Report Writing Competition when he was in the first grade. The Prime Minister’s Award was given to the best book report submitted from among 4,451,392 entries. He even delivered a speech on behalf of all the award winners in front of the press corps.
I gave birth to Juntaro in the fourteenth year of our marriage. Because of placenta previa, I had no choice but to be hospitalized for four months. However, I remember my happiness at being pregnant outweighed the inconvenience of being bedridden for so long.
People might think that it is terrible to be hospitalized for that long. However, I was too busy being happy about being pregnant, and my hospitalization didn’t matter much to me. After he was born, I raised him with full of love, and I even adored his crying.
We encountered the Shichida Method through the “Shichida Method Right Brain Correspondence Course”. When Juntaro was about to turn three, I enrolled him in the course intended for four-year-olds. I also enrolled him in the nearest Shichida Center as well. Juntaro attended the Shichida Center once a week and worked on the correspondence course daily at home.
The lessons at home provided opportunities for our communication, and we enjoyed the activities together as a mother and child team. The words of encouragement and praise from the correspondence course instructor made me very happy.
Shichida Method activities utilize various skills. We did Dot card activities and read picture books every day of the week. I also told my own original stories every single day. These activities contributed to cultivating Juntaro’s imaging ability and led to him receiving the Prime Minister’s Award for his book report in the writing competition.
His imaging ability, which he cultivated through Shichida activities, is still very useful. He is also taking piano lessons and he never skips his image training to “play beautifully” before he starts his piano practice.
Math is his favorite subject at school. Thanks to Shichida Dot card activities, whenever he sees mathematical expressions, the answers instantaneously come to his mind.
He practices succor and is called “a defense master” because his intuition and high-level imaging ability tell him where his opponents will go.
My husband and I always talk about how happy we are to have started the Shichida Method.
