San Htar Phyu (age six) has been attending a Shichida Myanmar Center since she was nineteen months old (pictured in her mother's arms).
Her enthusiasm for learning is highly valued by her local instructors, and her talents have bloomed through various activities.
Here is a testimonial from her parents.
“My daughter joined Shichida Myanmar when she was nineteen months old. In the beginning, she was always moving around and had trouble concentrating.
I followed the instructor's advice and had my daughter form a routine of doing the homework at home. As I practiced my favorite "Five-minute Suggestion" every night, I gradually saw her progress.
In the Linking Memory activity, she learned to accurately turn over the chips that her instructor asked about.
I also feel that she has become more curious about her surroundings. She notices things that even adults would miss, and she tells us what she has discovered.
For example, she noticed a new mole on my friend's face and quickly told me about it. What is more, she remembered the belongings of twenty children in her nursery school.
What troubled me the most about my daughter was that she could not sit quietly, and would fidget or move around during study time.
When this happened, instead of getting angry and stressing my daughter out, I learned to wait for her to calm down and take an interest in the activities.
We gradually became able to work on home activities when we used materials that easily attracted her interest, such as toys, balls, building blocks, fruit, and vegetables.
When my daughter was three-years-old, I was really worried because the Center was forced to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was because the Shichida Method values stimulating the brain in early childhood.
However, soon after, Shichida Myanmar introduced me to their online learning program* and I joined immediately without hesitation. Through the program, my daughter was able to learn phonics. I would like to express my gratitude to Shichida Myanmar for providing this program.
The last thing I would like to say is that it is important to be patient with your children when they are young.
If you work on the Shichida Method every day, your child will learn quickly and grow up to be social and more confident, just like my daughter. So please don't worry about them. ”
