In 2009, I encountered the book “Infant Education” by Dr. Makoto Shichida and felt his theories about prenatal education and infant education were outstanding. I decided to start attending a Shichida Center.
My daughter, Coco, became a Shichida child before she was born. She is now five and a half years old. The lessons we have attended over the last six years have led to a healthy body and high rates of development. My daughter loves to think and play music and sports. Currently, she is learning piano, vocals, figure skating and swimming. All of her instructors rate her concentration, memory and understanding at incredibly high levels. Coco lives each day happily.
I believe that all these things are the result of Shichida Method education. This environment is providing the “nutrients” my daughter needs to absorb. I think the “nutrients” she absorbs in this environment are linked to her future growth. I expect that she will continue to grow even more in the future.
All over the world there are hundreds of infant education organizations. Shichida Method education is an educational system based on brain science so it can develop children’s brains in a balanced manner. When I chose which method to follow, I placed importance on education that develops the heart. Shichida Method education develops children’s various abilities through play. It does not focus on teaching knowledge but instead places importance on developing children’s hearts.
